Can you help me arrange my office?

Thursday April 26th, 2012 by wisdom2th

I am excited to have an EP coming out in the very near future entitled “2th point 0″. As part of the development for this EP, local film maker and director Bobby Ruckus and I have co-written a music video clip that we will be filming on May 12th and 13th. The video clip has an information technology theme (I like computers) and will be shot in an office space. This is where you can possibly help me.

Bobby and I are currently scouting for a cubicle-based office space which looks boxy with partitions and so on. It would need to be available on May 12th and 13th.

If you know the perfect business for this, please contact us. Or if you know persons that own a business with an office environment and who may be interested in participating in this project, drop either me or Bobby Ruckus an e-mail at the following addresses.

Bobby Ruckus: riotfires@gmail.com

Wisdom2th: wis2th@hotmail.com

Cheers!

White Sugar gets airplay on RAGE

Monday April 23rd, 2012 by Mathas

Dear Friends.
Today is a good day.

I can now officially tick a lifetime goal off the list.
I have an outstanding collection of fond memories staying up late, smoking underage cigarettes (or in some cases banana peel and tea leaves), drinking stolen liquor cabinet booze and watching RAGE til 6am on the ABC. In fact RAGE reminds me a lot of a few old friends, namely Thea Bennett, Simon Frame, Jovita Boyd and Arran Hearn.. i know you dont know who they are, but they were important people in my upbringing… we watched rage every weekend, i had my first drinking and smoking experiences with them, we were primary school misfits, we loved Nirvana and the Smashing Pumpkins.. you know.. kid shit. I only really see one of them these days but my love is eternal.

Aaanyways.. i finally got a song on RAGE, my first filmclip White Sugar

It aired last Friday, i’m overjoyed.
Watch it:

Love Mathas.

Beats, rhymes & LP stuff

Friday April 20th, 2012 by tripl M U M

Hey there peeps…
Letting ya’s know the mix-down to the album has been finished with the help of the blessed ears of Sibalance…I miss our sessions already! So now its sittin with another set of the blessed ears owned by Ylem to sort out the master…the reason?
Well a lot of the samples I dig in come from North African music from the 30′s through to the 60′s and no shit…they screech belch and whistle like nothin else! That’s what I love about theses sounds, they’ve been dubbed and re-dubbed throughout the ages and have their own unique blend of crackle and fuzz. A visceral assault on the senses! Not to mention most were also mic recorded from old 7″ vinyl, tapes and various 8 tracks. Yeah, hip hop baby!
So I will be looking forward to getting the artwork together and pressing it to disc…and celebrating some with these wonderful Community cats very soon! ;)
One love, one nation…past to pasture…
tripl M U M
